As a customer, you can place your problems in our hands, and we will take care of finding a solution for you. In addition to pure analytical services, we are here for you as advisors and problem solvers. We also think outside the box and love challenges. We are happy to assist with various inquiries, as our broad range of analysis allows us to offer you something different from time to time.
As usual, we are still there for customers in the industrial and construction sectors, but also for our private customers.
To provide our customers with the best possible results and analysis, we have a large range of machinery at our disposal. In total, we have machines for coarse work, such as large jaw crushers, jaw crushers, cutting mills, and disc vibratory mills, as well as X-ray devices like XRF and XRD. We also have equipment for the analysis of organic substances, including various gas chromatographs, and devices for trace analysis, such as ICP-MS.

In 1994, HuK Umweltlabor GmbH was founded as a neutral, independent, and accredited testing laboratory by Mr. Gert Horn and Dr. William Kwarteng. What began with the analysis of refractory materials, steel, and alloys has since expanded to include many areas of environmental analytics and hygiene. In addition to analyzing typical environmental matrices such as soil, construction debris, or various types of water, we now also conduct hygienic workplace measurements. Water microbiology for drinking and cooling waters has gained increased importance due to current legislation. The field of hygiene also naturally includes various examinations in hospitals and other healthcare facilities.
As the vast analytical spectrum could no longer be adequately described by the term "environmental laboratory," HuK Umweltlabor was renamed Horn & Co. Analytics GmbH on January 1, 2019. The name change was also intended to emphasize the company's affiliation with the Horn & Co. Group more than before.
In August 2019, the analytical spectrum of Horn & Co. Analytics GmbH expanded even further when Tritech Oberflächentechnik GmbH from Solingen became part of the Horn & Co. Group. Founded in 1997, the company specializes in laboratory analysis, materials testing, metallography, and research and development in surface technology.
In January 2021, Horn & Co. Analytics GmbH took over the process-accompanying steel analysis at the Siegen and Witten locations. In this area, too, we can draw on around 20 years of experience, which we have accumulated in our process laboratory at the Wetzlar site.
For 30 years now, we have been known for precision, flexibility, and speed in the field of analytical problem-solving. We are guided by the needs of our customers and current demands. To further highlight and make better use of the strengths of the various specialized fields for our customers, we have been bundling them under the brand "INDUSTRIAL LAB" since December 1, 2023.
